This book uses SourceTree as its primary means of interaction with the Linux distribution. So, we'll be using SourceTree to create all of the files, perform all of the commits and downloads, keep track of all of our changes, and to make things a little easier on us, we'll be using the Git repository system, which further simplifies the usage of SourceTree. The Git repository system is a version control system that is designed to be simple, flexible, and to help make people more productive. In essence, it's designed to be used as an efficient, flexible version control system.
As you can see, the project is very complicated, but the beauty of this project is that it provides a very detailed guide on how to do almost anything in the Linux world. It also provides a template that everyone should be able to use for other projects that they are currently working on. To get the path to the repository URL, you may need to open the Features window and look for Bitbucket (see Resources->SourceTree for help finding the path). Then copy the URL for the repo from the Address box to a text editor or directly into the commandline. Your paths should look like this:
